The rain spit-splats onto.....The rain spit-splats onto the narrow road and bounce off like firecrackers. People walk hastily by with their shoulders scrunched and necks retracted into their jackets. Lines of cars appear in waves. Loud rumbling, swishing, and splattering followed by the quiet spit-splat of the rain. The loud distant sounds of wheels running over puddles grow closer until the first car in a new wave appears. Cars move with monotonous fidelity to the speed dictated by the car in front. Today, I went up..Today, I went up an icy mountain in the wilderness to explore. As I was climbing, a bunch of cow manuever starting raining down on me from the sky. I thought maybe animals didn't want me to intrude onto their turf. But I continued to climb. The nails on my fingers started to hurt from the climbing, when I looked down at them, I saw that ivy leaf tendrils were growing out of the tips of my fingers. I continued climbing. The tendrils were getting in the way, so I just grabbed a pair of shears from my utility belt and clipped all of them off like they were long curling nails. Today, I went up..
